We are dedicated to the rescue and
humane management of feral cats
on the University of Washington campus.
We practice trap/test/vaccinate/alter/return,
and provide assistance to others
who wish to do the same.

We place rescued cats and kittens
needing homes, but we are NOT a shelter.

2008 Jumble Sale!

Due to circumstances totally beyond our tenuous control, we have rescheduled the Campus Cats Annual Jumble Sale to Saturday, August 2. Which means we will have even more stuff to sell! This year, we have a bumper crop of clothes from a yuppy boutique consignment shop; tell your friends! Also books, geegaws, houseware, useful items, useless junk, and just neat stuff. Come one, come all: even dog lovers welcome! (But keep your dog on a leash, please.)

All proceeds benefit the care, feeding and non-breeding of feral cats on the UW campus and elsewhere. Follow our signs from Roosevelt Way NE in the Maple Leaf neighborhood (between Northgate Way and NE 75th Street, or on Fifth Avenue NE).

Cats may be good for your heart, study indicates

A University of Minnesota study of 4,435 adults has discovered that the relative risk of death from heart attack was 40% higher for people who had never owned a cat.

Time for the UW Combined Fund Drive!

Help us care and manage campus ferals by donating to Friends of Campus Cats through the UW Combined Fund Drive. Without the funds from this drive, our efforts would be severely limited. You may contribute to us using code number 330528. Thanks so much!

To our donors:

THANK YOU to all of you have contributed to Friends of Campus Cats. Every penny counts, and we simply could not carry on without your help. We try to send receipts and thank you notes to everyone. If you have not received acknowledgment of your donation, please accept our apologies! If you itemize and need the tax receipt, please let us know so we may mail your receipt right away.
